The timings of the schools, colleges, offices and shopping centers of Nepal vary from region to region because of its weather. The time and business hour in Nepal is a bit different from other countries.
_Shopping centers are open from 10 am to 8 pm and only closed on Saturdays. On the other hand, it is almost mandatory that there will be a shop nearby the home, on either the left or right. As the time of Nepal is five hours and 45 minutes ahead of the Greenwich Meridian Time, that’s why their rules are a bit different from other countries. The banks are open from 10 am to 3 pm, and on Saturday, the bank is open until 12 noon. Apart than this, Nepal celebrates many holidays.

Except the government offices of Kathmandu, the time and business hour of other parts of Nepal is a bit different. On Fridays, the offices are open until 3 pm but from Sunday to Thursday, the offices are remaining open until 5 pm. Some of the private banks opened their branches in various parts of the country to serve more people.

In Nepal, there is a huge list of festivals, observed in the country. The longest holiday is observed at the time of Dashain festival celebrated from September to October. During these holidays, the government offices are totally closed. The banks observes most of the holidays, not all, because banks will held up the economic transaction of the common people, but the business organizations observes the major holidays only. The time and business hour of Nepal is quite diverse from other countries but still it is special and do not help up the regular work of the common people.
