At 1786, King Prithvi Narayan Shah unified the Kingdom of Nepal and he expanded the kingdom as far as possible to Kashmir in the west and Sikkim in the east. Climate and Weather From June to September the monsoon season occurs and almost 80% of the total rain occurs in this season. Therefore, other time is dry in Nepal.
